Tropiflora Nursery[Robin Whitney - Tropiflora] : "a clone of Rhipsalis rhombea that is more robust than the form more typically seen. The stems are formed of oblong segments, broad and flat with crenate margins. Very full growing. Foliage of this form will tint red in bright light. A spineless species with yellow flowers that are followed by red fruits. No origin data, but this species is typically known from the southern part of the Atlantic forest in Brazil." [Shacarah Gagnon-Kvale - Rhipsalideae.org] : "This plant is closely related to Rhipsalis elliptica.".
